Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Malta: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Malta showcased varied performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting with 376 downloads in early July and peaking at 1.7K in the first week of September. This upward trend continued, with downloads reaching 1.4K by the end of September.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer saw gradual growth in its weekly downloads. The app began with 53 downloads in late June and peaked at 307 in the week of September 22.

Google Earth maintained consistent download numbers, with minor fluctuations. The app reached 214 downloads in the week of September 22, up from 118 at the start of the quarter.

Google Maps Go exhibited stable download figures throughout the quarter, starting at 135 and seeing a slight increase to 150 downloads by late September.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector showed a downward trend in downloads, beginning at 124 in late June and decreasing to 51 by the end of September. However, its weekly revenue saw a steady increase, peaking at $93 in both late August and late September.
